Demonstration at Bethesda Headquarters of Lockheed Martin.  Monday, January 21.  Gather at noon at the Davis Library (at 6400 Democracy in Bethesda) to march, in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, to the headquarters of Lockheed Martin, major supplier of implements of war.

Montgomery County Coalition for Alternatives to War (McCAW) meeting, Wednesday, January 23, at 7:30 p.m. at Cedar Lane Unitarian Universalist Church in Bethesda (Classroom 1-2 in church basement).  The agenda will include an informal discussion of the upcoming Presidential and Congressional elections, as they relate to the movement for peace and justice.

Progressive Democrats of America.  Tuesday, January 8, 2008, 7:30 p.m.  SaigonESE Restaurant, 11232 Grandview Avenue, Silver Spring (Wheaton).  PDA members will consider whether to make an endorsement in the race for Maryland CD-8.

District 14 Democratic Club, gathering to meet and greet candidates, for new voters, Sunday, January 6, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Buffington Building (rear) on Route 108 in Olney.
